Bellport General is a design-led general store located in the historic village of Bellport, New York. Conceived and directed by designer and creative director C.S. Valentin, the project reinterprets the traditional small-town general store as a contemporary platform combining coffee, food, fashion, furniture, and publishing. Drawing on Valentin’s background in creative direction and his international network of designers and makers, Bellport General presents a tightly curated selection ranging from everyday goods and coffee to hand-crafted ceramics, limited-edition furniture, and independent fashion from Paris, London, Tokyo, and New York. Both a neighborhood gathering place and a cultural outpost, the store reflects a worldly yet grounded approach to retail—rooted in community while introducing global design practices to the South Shore.
